Estimate your sauna electricity cost

Use the rated power, operating time and your local electricity rate to create a transparent planning estimate.

By EVEXIA WELLNESS · Updated November 1, 2026

A simple starting point.

Energy in kWh = rated power in kW × operating hours × average load fraction. Multiply by your electricity rate and number of sessions for a monthly estimate.

Defaults are illustrative inputs, not EVEXIA specifications or measured consumption. A load fraction of 1 assumes continuous rated power. Actual draw varies with heater cycling, ambient conditions, set temperature, insulation and use. Accessories and fixed utility charges are excluded.

Improve the estimate.

Replace the defaults with your final model’s rating and your electricity tariff. When available, measured consumption is more useful than a guessed load fraction. Include warm-up time rather than just the time spent inside.
